PACKAGING THAT GROWS
This packaging is made from a blend of local organic waste and mycelium mushrooms. Being carbon-neutral, it leaves behind a minimal environmental footprint. Most importantly, it is 100% compostable, meaning it can return to the earth harmlessly after use, completing a closed-loop cycle of sustainability.
WHAT ABOUT THE PAPER WE USE?
We use a paper made from agricultural waste (leaves and stems left over from the harvest). The production of this paper has 29% lower impact on environment than recycled paper. Usually the agricultural wastes burned but we use it as a raw material to make wood-free paper with very low CO2 emissions.
